BROOKE TATNELL ENTERS CHILI BOWL NATIONALS
FIVE Time Australian Sprintcar Champion Brooke Tatnell has entered the 2022 Chili Bowl Nationals at Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The annual indoor event, which attracts the best Midget drivers in the world, will be held inside the River Expo Centre, Tulsa, Oklahoma, January 10-15.
Tatnell will be driving the #75U Mike Griffiths / Spike / Hawk / Tomms Tyres / DK Custom Parts, NSW / Cazberg Earthworks / BJS Racing entry.
This is the first time in his career he has driven in the prestigious event.
“I am looking forward to a bucket list race that I’ve had to decline over the years with our Australian commitments. It’s been a long time since I saw rookie against my name – haha,” Tatnell quipped.
Tatnell’s decision to race in the Chili Bowl for the first time was also indirectly the result of the current border inconsistencies in Australia due to COVID-19.
“With the uncertainty in Australian borders, it would be a huge financial gamble and commitment for Scott Motorsports to commit to bringing us to Australia this season at this point, along with the road to recovery we are on as a family with Amy,” Brooke added.
Below are some of Brooke Tatnell career stats:
9 Time World Series Champion in Australia
5 Australian Titles
3 time Grand Annual Classic winner in Australia
13 World of Outlaws Wins
65 Career wins in USA (410 Class)
