PERTH NEW YEAR DOUBLE HEADER
New Year’s Night is Speedway Night at the Perth Motorplex!
Saturday, January 1, 2022, Perth Motorplex will now kick off the new year with a double header of Super Speedway action!
Originally to be hosted at the ‘Make Smoking History Bunbury Speedway’, Round 3 of WA Speedweek will be moved to the Perth Motorplex due to unexpected delays in the completion of a safety fence upgrade.
“After co-operative discussions between Bunbury Speedway and our management at Perth Motorplex, it has been agreed to move the event here to kick off the new year,” Moptorplex Speedway Manager Gavin Migro said.
WA Speedweek is now scheduled for an intense 6 round mini-series with five rounds at the Motorplex and one round at the Allwest Plant Hire Ellenbrook Speedway.Speedweek Logo WA
“This season has seen some intense racing from the highest quality WA Sprintcar teams we have ever seen and we cannot wait for the start of Speedweek”.
Tickets for the additional event will go on sale next week with a discounted 2 day event pass on offer for the new year double header.
Additionally, Perth Motorplex will include this event free for all speedway season members!
