It’s family entertainment night at Castrol Edge Lismore Speedway January 1 featuring Monster Trucks, freestyle motocross action, monster fireworks display and a full racing programme.
What better way to herald in the new year?
This promises to be one of the biggest nights of the season at the historical Lismore Showground venue featuring a massive variety programme, culminating with one of the biggest pyrotechnic displays seen at the venue for many years.
It’s a night promoter David Lander has had in his season planning well before the 2021-2022 racing term commenced.
“This is a night that will be very special as we welcome in 2022,” he said earlier this week.
“The Monster Trucks will go through a spectacular routine of ramp jumps and car crunching antics that is entertainment-plus. It all culminates with a monster fireworks display that has to be seen to be believed.”
Then there’s the FMX free style motocross team!
These riders are sensational with their high-flying stunts and have got to be seen to believed.
They are supreme stunt riders and incredible risk takers, but it’s all done with plenty of precision and they certainly know what they are doing. Their ramp jumps and acrobatic mid-air reverse somersaults are highly spectacular and entertaining.
They calculate their stunts perfectly and are the complete entertainment package.
The team employs only the most seasoned and professional riders in the sport of free style motocross. The riders have heaps of experience and have performed successfully throughout the country.
The speedway racing part of the massive show will feature racing for Wingless Sprintcars, Production Sedans, Street Stocks, RSA Four Cylinder Sedans, Junior Sedans and AMCA Nationals.
Gates open at 4PM and racing commences 5:30.
