RAMSAY, BAYLEY AND SHORE SALUTE AT SUNGOLD STADIUM

 Night one, Friday, February 25, of a double header at Sungold Stadium, Premier Speedway, Warrnambool produced some good racing with the C & H Trucking Sprintcars Limited Series, Late Models and the prestigious Junior Sedan Yeoman Williams Memorial all hitting the track.

The C & H Trucking Sprintcars Limited event over 25 laps was won by Domain Ramsay who made his move in lapped traffic at the mid-way point of the race to sneak somewhat unawares past Stephen Bell who piloted the V88 to second ahead of Shane Steenholdt who was third.

The top five was completed by David McKay and Andy Hibbert.

The Late Model feature began with 15 non-stop laps as Todd Bayley and Callum Harper cut through lap traffic like a hot knife through butter! As the caution lights appeared it made Harper’s task all-the-more difficult as he was unable to run down Bayley who capped off a faultless night in the N19 entry. Harper finished second, followed by Michael Holmes in third.

The Junior Sedan Yeoman Williams Memorial, an event that was postponed earlier in February was also decided with Will Shore putting on a clinic to add his name to a long and illustrious list of Yeoman Williams Memorial winners.

Second home was the exciting James Oliver while Fletcher Barron rounded out the podium with a strong third placed run.
