MATT JACKSON’S VICTORIAN SPEEDCAR TITLE

The 76 running of the Victorian Speedcar Championship was taken out by Sydney’s Matt Jackson at Heytesbury Stockfeeds Simpson Speedway.

Victorian star Travis Mills was second while Nick Parker was third. The state title did not disappoint and the slide jobs from the front runners were world class!

It was a great exhibition of car control as the drivers went hard at it. Jackson took command in the latter stages after trading passes with Mills.

Travis made one last desperation attempt in turns three and four but could not regain the lead as Jackson raced to a superb victory.

The 2022 Victorian Speedcar Championship, under the control of the Victorian Speedcar Drivers’ Association (VSDA), will go down as one of the great events in the modern era. The Victorian Speedcar Championship also is one of the oldest Midget-Speedcar races in the world.
