BROWN’S RAINED OUT START TO AMERICAN CAMPAIGN
Kaidon Brown’s much anticipated opening campaign to a ten-race campaign with the Keith Kunz-Curb Agajanian Motorsports Team was thwarted due to wet weather.
With the Saturated grounds, predictions of low temperatures and more precipitation, World of Outlaws, POWRi, and Farmer City Raceway (Illinois) officials cancelled the Illini-100 weekend scheduled for Friday, April 1, and Saturday, April 2.
The Lucas Oil POWRi National Midget League was scheduled to compete in conjunction with the emerging Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series presented by Toyota Racing.
POWRi, World of Outlaws, and track personnel made several attempts to get the overall facility race-ready, from parking to the track surface, but conditions were never going to be conducive to run the event, which will not be rescheduled.
Next up for Kaidon and the Lucas Oil POWRi National Midget League will be Federated Auto-Parts Raceway I-55 Raceway in Pevely Missouri in support of the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprintcar Series on Friday, April 15 and Saturday, April 16.
