AUSTRALIAN SPEEDWAY CHAMPIONS FATHER AND SON HONOURED AT ILLABO SPEEDWAY

Illabo Speedway’s Kerry Phelan and his team hosted the Tribute meeting to honour Barry and Steven Graham’s speedway life.

Both have won the Australian Speedcar GP – Champions Barry in 1979 and Steven nineteen years later in 1998.

The Illabo Vintage event was held in ideal weather and attended by many vintage supporters from Victoria and NSW.

Just after lunch Kerry launched the presentation in front of an eagerly awaiting audience followed by a father and son lap of honour, then just Steven in his trusty car for a few demonstration laps of honour. 

For the Graham family and many in attendance it was an emotional time to see Steven take to the track.
