BROWN WINS AT US 24 SPEEDWAY
Sydney’s 2018 Australian Speedcar Champion Kaidon Brown became the first Aussie to win at US Speedway 24 Friday night (US time).
Florida’s Robbie Smith led the early laps on the track’s low side groove as Brown, a front row starter, slipped back to fourth.
However, by lap ten, Brown challenged for the lead and on lap 13 he took over the front running.
From that point of the race he was never headed.
Smith was second and Steven Snyder Junior was third.
All three competitors have qualified into the following night’s $10,000-to-win main event.
