KING’S Lynn have signed Jason Edwards to take a Rising Star position – with his debut to come this Thursday against Sheffield.
Edwards joins the Stars as an injury replacement for Jack Thomas, who is out after breaking both wrists in a crash earlier this month.
Manager Alex Brady said: “Jason’s a well-measured and well-calculated young man, and when I spoke to him he’d already been thinking about potentially riding in the Premiership and what it would mean for him.
“He’s come across really well, I’m very impressed with his attitude and he’s a rider who’s doing some good things at the moment, so I’m pleased to have him with us.
“He’s also very busy on his bike at the moment, which can only be good for us, and he will be in the team on Thursday.”

BERWICK newcomer Jonas Knudsen can’t wait to get racing for the club when he makes his debut against Scunthorpe on Saturday.
Knudsen had his first laps of Shielfield Park when he attended the NDL clash with Mildenhall on Saturday, and is now all set to line up in the Championship.
He said: “I was just trying out different set-ups and looking at the various lines around the track.
“It all felt good and I was watching the Bullets match too and paying attention to how they worked the track.
“Conditions in England are a little different to what I’m used to, but I can’t wait to get out on track against Scunthorpe on Saturday.
“I’ve met the owners and management and some of my new team-mates and been made to feel welcome and fully supported. I cannot wait to get racing on Saturday.”
