KENDRICK LEADS MADDINGTON TOYOTA SPRINTCAR SERIES

Jason Kendrick is the early leader in the 2022-23 Maddington Toyota Sprintcar series.
Thanks to a second in the first round and a fourth in the City of Kwinana Westernapolis at the Perth Motorplex Speedway Saturday night, November, Kendrick has 288 points.
He is eight points ahead of Dayne Kingshott who claimed his second ever sprintcar feature race on the weekend (ahead of Robbie Farr and David Priolo).
This was on the back of his 10th in the first outing of the season after he stormed forward 11 spots.
Taylor Milling and Brad Maiolo are equal third on 272 points each.
Milling claimed a third in the season opener and backed this up with an 11th, while Maiolo opened his account with a ninth and has bettered that with a fifth.
James Inglis is fifth overall on 268 points after a pair of eights.
Round one winner Kye Scroop is sixth on 264 after a DNF in the latest bout.
Defending series champion Callum Williamson has dropped to 11th overall after he crashed while leading last weekend.
Nominations close this Wednesday night for the third round of the series, the Scardfields Smash Repairs King of Wings that will be contested over 40 laps, with a mid-race pitstop at the Perth Motorplex Speedway on Saturday, November 19.
