CHEQUERED FLAG RETRO TV SHOW TO RETURN ON FACEBOOK LIVE

The highly popular Chequered Flag Speedway TV show, which screened on Fox Sports for twenty years, between 1995 and 2015, is returning to Facebook.

Chequered Flag producer, Power Productions, has most episodes of the top rating program still in its archives and speedway fans, young and old, will now have the chance to re-live many of the sports’ biggest events, in all major categories, over a two decade period.

Commencing, Monday night, December 5, @ 8pm EDST, episode #1 of the Chequered Flag Retro Show will be livestreamed (on Chequered Flag’s Facebook page), thus, allowing on line viewers to watch the content on any device, anywhere in the world. Better still, viewers with a Smart TV, can Chromecast the program into their living room.

Power Productions’ General Manager, Nathan Tapp, says he’s confident that the Retro Speedway livestream will be embraced by viewers across the nation.

“Chequered Flag was an iconic name in Australian speedway for two decades and the show featured all of the sports’ major events, in all mainstream classes, he explained.

“The program’s weekly screening on Fox Sports, attracted some of the highest ratings on the subscription network and we’re hoping people enjoy watching the weekly trip down memory lane as we replay some of the best episodes, on Monday night, on the Chequered Flag Facebook page.

“All major classes will be catered for and some of the most time-honoured events in Australian speedway history will be showcased,” Nathan enthused.

Despite the fact, the Chequered Flag Retro content will be live streamed, viewers will still be able to watch each show retrospectively, as the content will stay on line, after the live stream is completed.
