ALL STARS TRIO CHASE A PLACE IN HISTORY
THREE drivers have already taken the accolades and the money in the past for the Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers All Star Challenge and are lining up again to try and become the first two time winner.
The event is scheduled to go under the flag at Heytesbury Stockfeeds Simpson Speedway on January 21.
Sure, the temptation of $15K has something to do with it, but there’s the prestige of winning the biggest Sprintcar 360 race in Australia, which is also on their agenda. Previous winners John Vogels, James McFadden and Brendan Quinn have all nominated.
Vogels won back in 2016, JMac in 2021 and Quinn last season.
“Last year Johnny V exited the main spectacularly by riding the front straight wall.
“JMac also ended up sitting on the infield. Quinny made an unscheduled trip from Sydney after a washout up there and it was worth the effort for him taking out the win.
“Those who were there remember it was a nail biting race; this seems to be traditional for this show as we always have one of the most exciting, if not the most exciting race, of the season.
“Simpson dials up a brilliant race track which allows this. We know that in a couple of weeks it will be exactly the same.
“Vogels is also the local track favourite at Simpson and the crowd will get behind him. Let’s see if any of these three drivers can double up,” Promoter Searle said.
So remember the date for the Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers All Star Challenge: January 21st at Heytesbury Stockfeeds Simpson Speedway.
