Lachlan McHugh Racing and Deuce 5 Motorsports are excited to announce their partnership for the 2023 USA Sprintcar season.
Coming off the back of a stellar season in Australia, including being crowned champion of the country’s biggest race, the Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic, McHugh will return to the USA for a 50+ race schedule with the Knoxville based team.
Working close to the world famous Knoxville Raceway in Iowa, the Deuce 5 Motorsport team is led by the talented Brandon Ikenberry who has a wealth of experience in team management and is well known for his leadership and work ethic.
Whilst only a relatively new team with McHugh on board, they have their sights set on becoming a force to be reckoned with on the American Sprintcar scene.
“We’re stoked to have Lockie on board with the team for the upcoming season and can’t wait to see what we can achieve together,” said Ikenberry.
“Make no mistake, we’re not going to be just making up the numbers and are very confident with our car and our team that we’ll be pushing for podiums and wins throughout the season.”
After locking directly into the top ten of last year’s Knoxville Nationals, Lockie and Brandon are excited to once again take on the best in the world in 2023.
“I’m really thankful for the opportunity that Brandon and the team have given me to race in the ‘states again and I am looking forward to getting over there to race the best in the world,” McHugh said.
As part of this, there are a limited number of opportunities to partner with the team and to capitalise on the extensive audience and reach throughout the USA and Australia.
On the local scene, Lockie’s social media reaches up to 150,000 people each month, alongside prominent viewing on speedway streaming channels including Clay Per View and media articles.
The upcoming USA season will extend on this with all races to be live streamed in America and Australia through DIRTVision and FloRacing.
The team are already looking forward to welcoming these partners for 2023:
