DANISH STAR’S RETURN TO PETERBOROUGH
PETERBOROUGH have completed the signing of Danish star Niels-Kristian Iversen to return to the club after over a decade.
The former World No.3 last rode for the Panthers in 2010 although he was lined up to be in their side three years ago, and appeared on press day, only for the league season to be cancelled due to the pandemic.
Co-promoter Carl Johnson said: “Niels is a proven heat-leader and a proven No.1 in the Premiership, and he’s been one of the best in the world throughout his career.
“It’s fantastic that we can make a signing like him and bring him back to the club, especially after he never got to ride for us in 2020.
“He’s certainly going to be a crowd favourite again, and I think looking at his form from last season he was the outstanding man at King’s Lynn until he had to leave, and that’s when they disappeared down the table.
“He loves the Showground, it’s one of his favourite tracks, and it puts another great rider into the line-up. I think what we’ve got so far is a superb starting point.”

OXFORD have completed their NDL line-up for the new season with the signing of Jacob Fellows.
The 21-year-old from Leicester is no stranger to the Chargers having made two guest appearances for the club last year.
Fellows said: “I’m really pleased to sign for Oxford Chargers and jumped at the opportunity when it was presented to me.
“Oxford’s new track has a really nice shape to it and I really enjoyed guesting for the team last year.
“We’ve got a good team together and hopefully we can have a positive season and look to challenge for some silverware.”
