DUMESNY RETURNS TO MOTORPLEX FOR MONTE MOTORSPORT

Matt Dumesny will return to the Monte Motorsport W17 and compete at the Perth Motorplex Saturday night, March 11.

The third generation Sprintcar racing Sydneysider has demonstrated blistering speed each and every time he’s visited the Perth Motorplex and tonight it’s hoped he can get a result that befits the potential of the Monte-Dumesny partnership.

Glenno Inglis and Sam Gartner will be wielding the spanners on the W17 Monte Farms Maxim and all members of the team will be hoping Matt can blow out the candles at the culmination of his birthday week.

“I’m excited about tonight,” says Luch Monte, “I feel like every time we’ve touched the track we’ve been fast and we’ve had the potential to win. The Motorplex really suits Matt’s style. It’s never taken him long to settle in considering he’s never raced here before.”

Dumesny will strap into the W17 at the ‘Plex’ on a night that honours some of the greats of West Australian Speedway including the late great Ray “The Charger from Osborne Park” Geneve.

Matt’s Dad Max certainly raced against Ray over the years and no doubt Matt’s Grandfather Sid Moore would have done the same.

The 24-car field will contest a 50-lap A-Main with a compulsory mid-race pit stop which will no doubt play into the hands of the vastly experienced Glenno Inglis.
