WOFFINDEN’S MILDURA RETURN NEXT SEASON
Three Times World Speedway Champion England’s Tai Woffinden is coming back to Mildura’s Olympic Park Speedway for the Karym Cleaning Mildura Motorcycle Club 75th Anniversary two night super show on Friday January 26 and Saturday January 27.
The Club was scheduled to run the anniversary meetings last summer but the events were postponed due to floods in the region.
The British Speedway legend will headline night one of the anniversary two night super show in the GT On-site Windscreens Phil Crump Solo Classic where he will attempt to defend the trophy. The second night will feature Australia’s best Sidecar teams to celebrate the club’s 75 year history with the running of the Mildura Sidecar Shootout.
The Grand Prix superstar is a box office major attraction – especially after his performance last February when he broke every track record at the Mildura circuit.
The Mildura Motorcycle Club is delighted with the confirmation of Woffinden’s availability and attendance. Olympic Park solo co-ordinator Ryan Sedgmen added “ It was amazing to get Tai here last season and he kept to his promise saying he would be back to defend the Phil Crump crown.
He was simply sensational last time out and his interactions with the spectators signing autographs all night between races shows what a top guy Tai is.”The club is also thrilled to announce that Karym Cleaning will once again be the naming rights sponsor to the two night super show special thanks to Jason, Karen and all the team at Karym Cleaning.
