WEST COAST F500 SERIES ANNOUNCED!
Hot on the heels of last week’s WA title announcement, the Formula 500s of WA are proud today to announce the schedule for the 2023/24 West Coast Series!
Next season will see the series contested over seven rounds at six tracks, held across the state and sure to set a great challenge as always for our competitors.
Kicking off the series will be a show at Moora Speedway on October 28 – the division once again returning to the track, but at an earlier time than normal in the season.
Pithara Speedway Club Inc will then host the second round on Saturday, November 11, forming part of the annual Bonza Bradford Memorial show.
Round three will be at the outstanding Tyrepower Manjimup Speedway in mid December, while the series will then head down to the picturesque Trade Hire Augusta Margaret River Speedway early in the New Year to contest the fourth round.
Rounds five and six will be contested at the Perth Motorplex across two nights, forming part of what is sure to be a spectacularly busy period of racing at the metro venue.
The final round of the West Coast Series will this season be run and won at the Kalgoorlie International Speedway, and the Formula 500s WA Executive are currently looking at ways to make the final round even more appealing. This project, along with all the full details of the West Coast Series, including sponsors and formats, will be released in coming weeks.
For those wishing to be part of the series as a sponsor, or to make a contingency prize contribution, make sure you get in touch with Ash (via email) at: f500memberships@outlook.com !
Junior Formula 500s will also feature on the program across five of the seven rounds, once again forming their own Junior West Coast Series. At this stage, just the two Motorplex shows will not feature the division, but a full calendar, which will include other Motorplex dates, will be released in the coming days.
The full senior 2023-24 season calendar will also be released soon.
