LONG TIME IPSWICH SPONSOR RETAINED
IPSWICH have extended their main sponsorship deal into an eighth season and will now be known as the Tru7 Group Witches.
The group fronted by Guy Nicholls have been title sponsors of the Foxhall club since 2016 under several different banners, and promoter Chris Louis has underlined the significance of the arrangement as they look for further success in the Sports Insure Premiership.
Louis said: “To maintain the Tru7 sponsorship is an honour. In this area, you can’t avoid the name seeing the trucks on the roads, they are a hugely successful family business.
“To be representing them, that’s how we feel about it, is an honour and it is great to have them on board.
“It is a family of motorsport enthusiasts, particularly speedway with Guy and Jake. Jake is a hugely successful motocross rider in his own right.
“It is fabulous to have them on board for an eighth successive year and I can’t wait to get going, their passion for success only grows. Winning the Knockout Cup last year and going so close to the league title only makes that passion stronger.”

GREAT Britain star Tom Brennan is a confirmed starter for the Ben Fund Bonanza at Workington on Saturday March 16 – where he will race on the Northside track for the first time.
Brennan, who has two new clubs for 2024 as he will line up for Birmingham and Poole, has reached the Final in the previous two Bonanzas and made it to the podium at King’s Lynn last year.
He said: “The Ben Fund is a meeting I will always do. Regardless of the situation, regardless of my situation, it’s a meeting that I will use to give back to them. They are good for the sport and they are good for me.
“I’ve done it the last two years and reached the Final both times, getting third last year. It’s a fantastic way to start the year.
“I’m actually really excited to be going to Workington. Stevie Lawson has done a fantastic job there and I think he is proud of what they have achieved.
“It’s new, it’s exciting and there have been really good reports back from people like Dan Bewley and others who have ridden there. I’m excited to be part of that.”
Sponsorship packages are available for the Bonanza starting at £100 for a programme advert, then packages at £250 and £400 which offer admission (for 2 or 4 respectively), programme adverts, reserved seating and meal vouchers.
