GLENN O’BRIEN AND MICK POOLE EXPERT COMMENTATORS FOR IKON SUSPENSION AT INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY MASTERS

Australian speedway sidecar and solo legends, Glenn O’Brien and Mick Poole, are confirmed as an integral part of the commentary line-up for the Ikon Suspension International Speedway Masters.

O’Brien and Poole will spearhead an expert commentary team, being assembled for the two night speedway spectacular, scheduled for Adelaide’s’ Gillman Speedway Stadium, on December 27 and 28.

Both stars, now retired from competition, have amassed considerable experience behind the microphone in recent years.

Glenn O’Brien, a five-time Australian Sidecar Champion and Mick Poole, who enjoyed a stellar international solo career, over several decades, are both welcome additions to the broadcast team.

“I’m thrilled to have secured Glenn and Mick for the event,” says ISM24 organiser David Tapp.“Both guys had magnificent careers as competitors and their wealth of knowledge in the sport of speedway speaks for itself.

“Patrons attending the event and the people tuning into the television broadcast standard livestream coverage will undoubtedly welcome their expert analysis.

“Both Glenn and Mick were a vital part of the commentary line-up at last December’s Australian Speedway Centenary and they did a superb job providing information and entertainment.”
