JACK HOLDER CONFIRMED STARTER IN INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY MASTERS
Twenty-eight year old Australian speedway star, Jack Holder, is a confirmed starter in the prestigious Ikon Suspension International Speedway Masters, at Adelaide’s Gillman Speedway.
The reigning world number four and the winner of this year’s Croatian Speedway Grand Prix, will line up on the second night (December 28), of the two-night, ISM24 international blockbuster, contesting the Leigh Adams Medal.
Jack Holder, Australian Champion in 2023, is regarded as one of the world’s fastest riders, underlined by his eight appearances in SGP Finals and forty-two heat race wins, in the sport’s elite World Championship, to date.
At the time of writing, the Appin (NSW) born racer is currently placed second in the SGP World Championship, with five rounds still remaining. Holder was also the winner of the 2022 Speedway of Nations, world team’s event, combining with Max Fricke (VIC) and Jason Doyle (NSW) in claiming the FIM Gold Medal.
“I’m delighted to announce Jack’s inclusion in the field for the ISM24,” said organiser David Tapp.
“Jack’s amongst the best riders on the planet and he’s a brilliant inclusion for the Leigh Adams Medal. I’m grateful that he wants to be a part of the event and he’ll be tough to beat come the business end of the night.”
Meanwhile, Jack Holder says he’s really looking forward to taking part in the event honouring ten-time Australian Champion, Leigh Adams.
“It was an easy decision to make,” Holder said.
“The International Speedway Masters is a legendary name from yesteryear and it’s so cool that it’s back on the calendar. Also, as a young kid, I was in awe of Leigh Adams and his riding style, so it’s nice to be a part of this meeting celebrating his career.
“I’ve still got a lot to focus on in Europe this season and there’s a big job to be done in SGP Series, but it’ll be great to get home later in the year and prepare for the meetings I’ll be doing in Aussie”.
Jack Holder joins Jason Doyle (NSW), Chris Holder (NSW), Jan Kvech (Czech), Sam Hagon (GB), Luke Becker (USA), Fraser Bowes (NSW) and Jaimon Lidsey (VIC), as the riders announced so far….
