OLYMPIC PARK SPEEDWAY: AUSTRALIAN CHAMPION LOCKED IN!
Reigning Australian Speedway Champion Rohan Tungate is the latest superstar to sign on for the 2024 GT Onsite Windscreens Phil Crump Solo Classic presented by Karym Cleaning at Olympic Park Speedway Mildura on Sunday December 29.
The 34-year-old Kurri Kurri local has been having another good European season racing in all three major leagues in England, Poland and Sweden.
Tungate has progressed to the number one slot racing for the Oxford Spires in the UK going past former world number #3 Maciej Janowski.
“Rohan is another world class performer and we are thrilled to have him at the Crump Classic,” added MMCC solo co-ordinator Ryan Sedgmen.
“He is the reigning Australian Speedway Champion beating the likes of Jack Holder, Max Fricke and Brady Kurtz in the field last season and he is out to do it again. The Crump Classic is perfect hit out for him to get ready for his title defence.”
The 2024 version of the Crump Classic is easily shaping up as the best field ever assembled in the 12 year history of the event.
