DENMARK’S JONAS JEPPERSEN TO APPEAR AT 2024 PHIL CRUMP SOLO CLASSIC

Danish speedway international, Jonas Jeppesen, has signed to contest the 2024 GT Onsite Windscreens Phil Crump Solo Classic presented by Karym Cleaning on Sunday December 29.

The two-time Danish Under 21 Champion, will contest the Phil Crump Solo Classic joining a star studded field comprising riders from Australia, England, America and the Czech Republic.

In European racing, Jonas Jeppersen, competes in league racing with the Esbjerg Vikings (Denmark), Poznan (Poland) and Vargana Norrkoing (Sweden).

“I’m incredibly excited to have been invited to compete in Australia,” added Jeppesen.

“I have always wanted to come to Australia, a country with a massive reputation when it comes to producing great speedway riders.

Jonas Jeppersen will be riding a bike owned and prepared by local speedway legend Leigh Adams.

A special mention must go out to David Tapp for his assistance in getting Jeppesen to come to Olympic Park.

Jeppesen will appear at the ISM at SA’s Gillman Speedway the night before the Crump Classic.

The confirmed riders are – Jonas Jeppersen (DNK), Tom Brennan (GB), Sam Masters (NSW) Jason Doyle (NSW), Jan Kvech (Czech), Sam Hagon (GB), Luke Becker (USA), Jaimon Lidsey (VIC), Rohan Tungate (NSW) and Brady Kurtz (NSW) with more to come
