Two-time Aussie champion Rohan Tungate booked his place in the 2025 Speedway GP qualifiers after winning his first FIM Oceania Championship at Adelaide track Gillman on Saturday.
Tungate triumphed after taking victory in the final ahead of 2024 champion Jaimon Lidsey in second, SON2 bronze medallist James Pearson took third and Great Britain star Tom Brennan was fourth.
Victory for Tungate sees him join new Australian champion Brady Kurtz and national championship runner-up Jack Holder in the Speedway GP qualifiers later this year.
The trio will be battling for places in the FIM SGP Challenge at Danish club Holsted on August 9, where the top four riders earn qualification for the 2026 Speedway GP series.
