TUESDAY, MARCH 4
A second to Callum Williamson was not enough to close the gap on series points leader Dayne Kingshott when round 19 of the 2024-25 Maddington Toyota Sprintcar Series was contested at Ellenbrook Speedway on Sunday evening, March 2.
Heading into the round, Williamson was 58 points shy of defending series champion Kingshott, and on many occasions a podium result may have reduced the deficit – except that Kingshott won the feature race and extended his margin to 62 points with three rounds remaining.
Taylor Milling, Kaiden Manders and Andrew Priolo hold down their spots in the top five.
Jason Kendrick moved up to sixth and Kris Coyle to seventh, at the expense of Brad Maiolo who was in sixth, but did not nominate for the latest round.
Maiolo will be back in action this Saturday night and is in eighth, ahead of Daniel Harding and Michael Keen who make up the top 10.
The next round of the series will be the TD Granny Flats Silver Cup at the Perth Motorplex this Saturday night, March 8.
It will be the second of the four-round Maddington Toyota Four Crown mini-series that rounds out the 2024-25 Maddington Toyota Sprintcar Series.
The top pointscorer from the Four Crown will receive a bonus $3000, with $2000 to second overall and $1000 to third overall.
This is on top of the overall series champion winning $25,000, which will be presented at the awards night on
