BRITISH SPEEDWAY MEDIA DAY ANNOUNCED

THE 2025 ROWE Motor Oil British Speedway Premiership Media Day will take place at Oxford Stadium on Sunday March 23 (10.30am – 4pm).
All of our friends and colleagues in the media are warmly invited to join us for the event, which after the success of last year’s launch at Belle Vue will once again bring together all riders, team managers and club personnel from the seven competing sides.

The ROWE Motor Oil Premiership heads into its new season with the strength of last year more than maintained, with continuity of team selection in some clubs and wholesale changes in others.
Belle Vue are looking to defend the league title after their Grand Final triumph over Leicester last autumn, and they do so with a spearhead of national champions Dan Bewley (GB) and Brady Kurtz (Australia), both of whom are now Grand Prix riders.

Former World Champions Tai Woffinden and Chris Holder (both Sheffield), along with Jason Doyle (Ipswich) all continue in the Premiership, with Doyle joined at Foxhall by fellow superstar Emil Sayfutdinov as both return from their injuries of 2024.
Further current Grand Prix pedigree is provided by Max Fricke (Leicester) and Jack Holder (Sheffield), whilst there are several intriguing returnees to British Speedway including Peter Kildemand (Oxford), and Matej Zagar and Michael Jepsen Jensen (both Birmingham), and some fascinating changes at King’s Lynn.

As with last season, the Media Day will feature a series of different activities with each team taking time at each ‘station.’ This will include British Speedway’s official photo shoots, interviews with broadcast partners, and content creation for social media.
All clubs will be allocated time when they are available for interviews and photographs with the general media.

During the lunch break at 1pm there will be a live-streamed press conference featuring, in three sections, the captains, the newcomers and the superstars. Members of the media will be more than welcome to ask questions at this event.
