AUSTRALIAN SPEEDWAY CENTENARY – FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Australian Speedway Centenary organisers have answered the questions most asked and have issued the following statement also in appreciation of the wonderful support they have received for their two night super show:
“We’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support, in relation to the staging of the two-night Australian Speedway Centenary, at North Brisbane Speedway, on December 28 and 29.
“We are very much looking forward to staging an event, which should prove memorable, for all concerned. Online ticket sales are brisk, but, there are still plenty available, at the time of writing.
“We thought it appropriate to publish a list of FAQ’s (frequently asked questions); in case people planning on attending the event, require clarification, on any key points.”

# Online Tickets: General Admission Tickets can be purchased at – https://www.ticketebo.com.au/speedwaycentenary
# VIP Tickets: VIP Centurion Club tickets can also be purchased at – https://www.ticketebo.com.au/speedwaycentenary
# Tickets at the Gate: Yes, tickets will also be available both nights, at the entry gates.
Note: The online ticket price IS NOT available when choosing to pay for entry at the gate. Two night pass discounts (online prices only) are NOT available when paying at the gate. When paying at the gate, each night shall require a separate ticket purchase.
# Ticket Information/FAQ’s:
– Children 5 years and under are Free and require no ticket.
– Concession applies to current Defence Force, Pension/Aged, Disability and Students with a valid card holder.
– Tickets sold are non-refundable but are transferable to other people.
– NOTE: Please be advised should an unforeseen weather event lead to the cancellation/abandonment of the event due to rider safety concerns, on either night after racing has started no refunds will be issued if 50% – or 12 races – on the main feature program have been completed. This will be deemed an event.

# Opening Time: Gates Open – 3pm EST (public) and 1.30pm (competitors).
# Support Racing: 250cc & 125cc solos and classic sidecars (Heats – 3.15pm to 4.30pm and Finals after round 1 on the main program).
# Practice: The competitors racing in the main event will be allocated a short practice session commencing at 4.30pm EST.
# Main Event Start Time: Rider Parade @ 5.30pm EST/ Concluding at 10pm.
# Main Event Format: 20 heats, 2 x Semi-Finals, plus Grand Final. The top 2 point scorers, at the completion of the heats, are seeded directly into the Grand Final….. and will be joined by the winner of each semi-final.
# BYO Alcohol: BYO Alcohol is Strictly Prohibited. Bags/Eskys will be checked upon entry. Collection of any alcohol brought to the venue will be returned once the event has concluded.
# BAR Service: YES – The event includes a bar facility.
# Hot Food Vendors: The event will provide for numerous food outlets located around the venue.
# Public Parking: There is parking within the venue precinct for approx. 400 cars plus ample street parking outside the venue. There is no reserved parking (excluding VIP Centurion Club patrons who will have a specific parking area within the venue).
# Disabled Parking: There is disabled parking available for disabled badge holders only. Enquire at the entry gate upon arrival.
# Public Toilets: There are plentiful toilets located around the venue.
# Reserved Grandstand Seating: There is NO reserved seating. We STRONGLY recommend you bring a fold-up chair.
# Rain Date: December 30, 2023 (at the discretion of promoters).
# Official Merchandise: There will be official Australian Speedway Centenary merchandise available for purchase.
# Event Program: A souvenir, full colour, event program can be purchased from numerous locations around the venue for $10.
# Event Poster: A Commemorative 100 year collector’s item solo – and – sidecar poster will be available for purchase.
# Legends Parade: The Cavalcade of Legends will take place both nights, intermittently, throughout the main event program, in between heat rounds.
# Autograph Signing Centre: There will be a dedicated autograph signing centre, located near the pits, where riders, past and present, will appear based on a rotational schedule.
# Livestream Coverage: Yes, the event IS being professionally livestreamed – subscription details will be released December 1.
