OLDFIELD WINS LIL’ AUSSIE SPRINCAR OPEN AT LISMORE
Lismore regular Luke Oldfield stole the show when he took out the Lil’ Aussie Sprintcar Open at
Castrol Lismore Speedway, Tuesday, January 9.
Oldfield came from several starting rows back in the field and overcame stoppages to claim the $10,000 winner’s pay off.
Tasmania’s Australian Sprintcar champion Jock Goodyer was second and North Queensland’s Brodie Davis took third.
Lismore’s Tony Bridge took a wild ride when his Sprintcar broke a front axle entering the first corner and overturned several times. Bridge escaped from the wreck uninjured
The action continues at Castrol Lismore Speedway this Saturday night with another spectacular holiday fixture.
