FIM SPEEDWAY EVENTS INCREASES VIEWING AUDIENCE
FIM Speedway events can now be watched live by fans in more countries around the world, as Warner Bros Discovery Sports Europe joins forces with streaming partner Staylive.
OTT platform provider Staylive, a Spring Media Company, has joined forces with WBD Sports Europe to increase the distribution and availability of its flagship motorcycling and cycling events globally.
This collaboration will unite and spread the passion for some of the most exhilarating sports events, including the FIM Speedway Grand Prix (SGP) series, the FIM Endurance World Championship (EWC), the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series and the UCI Track Champions League.
Fans can watch 2024 FIM Speedway events including the Speedway GP series, the FIM Speedway of Nations, SGP2 and SGP3 on Eurosport and discovery+ as well as across several local and national broadcasters.
With this agreement, FIM Speedway racing and other WBD Sports Europe-owned-and-promoted events are now also accessible on Staylive through pay-per-view and subscription packages in markets independent of exclusive WBD platforms and broadcast partnerships.
The 2024 FIM Speedway season gets underway with the Boll FIM Speedway GP of Croatia, live from Donji Kraljevec, on Saturday, April 27 – the first of 11 Speedway GP rounds this year.
