MARCUS DUMESNY READY FOR SPEEDWEEK

Marcus Dumesny is embarking on another assault on the iconic Sprintcar Speedweek series that his famous dad Max was truly a Goliath in the tournament.

Marcus has another reason for wanting victory in this year’s running however – as a great mate and at times team driver for Wayne “Snow” Rowett he wants to be the first person to win a main event at the epic new Tolmer Speedway in Bordertown SA – the high banked ‘field of dreams’ that Rowett has created.

Marcus, a third generation throttle man and former Australian Champion, is well versed in winning or heading to the front at the existing Speedweek venues though there’s little doubt he’s eyeing off victory at Tolmer as a laser double focus.

Can Dumesny pick off Tolmer history and win Speedweek as well in his potent Valvoline 47 Maxim?

There’s little doubt he has the talent, the performance equipment and the crew chief to do so.

Is this the season Marcus Dumesny leaves his ‘marc’?

There’s nobody in the field or the stands who’d be surprised if he pulled off both a main event and or Speedweek Series win this summer.
