DANE IS SET FOR TESTIMONIAL SEASON
KING’S Lynn favourite Niels-Kristian Iversen is ready to turn his attentions towards marking his Testimonial season with a title challenge in the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership.
Iversen celebrated a successful benefit event in front of a big crowd at the Adrian Flux Arena last Sunday, and now the Dane wants the Stars team to build momentum in the league season.
Lynn have not reached the play-offs since 2018 when they topped the table before missing out in the Grand Final, but their team for this season is regarded by many as being capable of challenging for the top four at least.
Iversen said: “I think it would mean a hell of a lot for the club and the fans, and that’s obviously what we are going for.
“But it’s a long way to the end of the season, and we need to take one meeting at a time and build up that momentum.
“It’s not won or lost in one meeting at the beginning of the year, but it’s about getting form at the right time and build up that streak of winning.”

BRITISH Speedway Promoters Ltd can confirm with regret that Mildenhall will be unable to compete in the 2025 season.
The Fen Tigers, who did not race last year, were hoping to make a late entry into the National Development Trophy competition with a Community Trust model set up to operate at West Row.
An SCB track inspection took place last month, with the club being advised of revisions which would be required to their air barrier arrangements in order to meet safety standards.
Unfortunately, with the deadline to stage British Speedway events of March 15 having passed, it means Mildenhall will not be involved in official competition in 2025.
However, the BSP will continue to support the club’s ongoing efforts to get the stadium ready for the 2026 season and, subject to obtaining an SCB track licence, Mildenhall will be warmly encouraged to stage events at Amateur level later this year.
We are very keen to see the sport resurrected at West Row and will continue to support the club in their endeavours.
