TEAM AUSTRALIA PLACED FOURTH
Team Australia Under 21 “Joeys” have finished fourth in the FIM Speedway Team Under 21 World Championship final in Bydgoszcz, Poland.
The Aussie youngsters, Matthew Gilmore, Keynan Rew and Brayden McGuinnes, came within one point of picking up a third-placed bronze medal against tough opposition from Great Britain, Sweden, Czech Republic, Denmark and Latvia.
Home favourites Poland took the FIM gold. Denmark finished second and Great Britain third.
