ALL STARS RETURN TO TIMMIS

The Sprintcar All Stars Series returns to one of its favourite race tracks, Timmis Speedway, Saturday night, December 8, for the Col Beasley Classic.
The round in October was canned due to Covid but everything is falling into place for this weekend. The Sprintcar All Stars have ‘upped the ante’ this season paying $3000 to the winner.A strong contingent of local cars that call Timmis home have other plans to determine the winner.
The number V43 Corey Sandow, V6 Cam Waters, NT52 Jason Bolitho, SA51 Jay Brown & VA9 Brad Warren in the McClure Racing Team are all hard chargers and have the ‘home track’ advantage. The VA91 Dan Scott now also bases his car in Mildura. Legend ‘Farmer’ Phil Lock returns also after being MIA (busy on the farm) for the past couple of shows and its fantastic to have him back. Ben Morris is returning in the SA3 J&J after destroying it at Mt Gambier during Speedweek. After being forced to sit out on the sidelines earlier this season with an injury, we hope Lady Luck will be kinder for his return to
Mildura.
All Star regular SA33 Mark Caruso is a welcome return to the Series and Caruso’s experience at Timmis speaks for itself, winning multiple podiums over the years. Charles Hunter currently sits on top of the Championship leader board and after strong results with his 410 recently the family owned V73 will be another to watch. The V7 Paul ‘Cyclone’ Solomon is one of the many drivers who has swapped the 360 for a 410 over Christmas and in doing so picked up more laps and confidence. Jordyn Charge (V60) is also making the trek to Mildura. The quiet and unassuming Charge took out the Series win at Hamilton recently and has ability beyond his years. The V39 Brett Smith, D26 Todd Moule, S96 Brendan Guerin are only a few more names to throw their hat in the ring to win the Beasley show.
“The Flocon Mildura Moonshine Masters was a popular invention last season replacing the old King of the River mini-series and is continued and improved this season.
“This incorporates the 3 series races at Mildura and pays $3000 to the winner. As we have a few shows at Mildura we have an added incentive for teams to travel for each round. The driver with the highest points overall for these 3 shows based on the A Main will pick up a $3000 bonus.” Searle said.
With a field of 25 cars, the excitement has been building to run on the recently revamped B&S Earthworks Timmis Speedway and with the drivers above you are guaranteed ‘thrill and minute’ racing. On track action starts from 6.00pm. January 8that Timmis Speedway, Mildura for RD3 of the Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers All Star Series.
