MATT PASCOE TAKES $10K IAN BOETTCHER CLASSIC
National Super Sedan Champion Matt Pascoe took out the $10,000-to-win Ian Boettcher Classic at Hi-Tec oils Toowoomba Speedway, Sunday night, April 24.
The event provided an unbelievable night’s racing. Matt Pascoe drove a great race and it was a hard fought contest between some of the best Super Sedan drivers in the country.
The current Australian Super Sedan titleholder was joined on the podium by Ian Boettcher Race Parts team driver Darren Kane in second and third-placed Tasmanian hotshot Callum Harper.
“Thank you to all the drivers for putting on an amazing show and thank you to the ripper crowd who braved the freezing and showery conditions. Finally thank you to all the hard working volunteers who ensured we got the entire meeting completed in record time and all the sponsors that made these events possible,” a track spokesperson said.
“The four-wide salute from the Super Sedans with the fireworks going off from the infield, was a very fitting tribute for a truly memorable race.”
