BRITISH SPEEDWAY PAYS ITS RESPECTS
BRITISH Speedway can confirm that as a mark of respect to HM Queen Elizabeth II there will be no racing in the UK this weekend.
Meetings scheduled for Edinburgh on Friday, Leicester on Saturday, and Redcar and Kent on Sunday have been postponed, and re-arranged dates will be announced in due course.
We are awaiting government guidance regarding future events, with further news expected shortly.
Our thoughts are with the Royal Family as we join the nation in mourning, and we wish everyone a peaceful weekend at this sad time.

SHEFFIELD have confirmed their place in the Premiership play-offs with a 51-39 win at King’s Lynn on Thursday.
The result also ended the Stars’ hopes of reaching the top four, with Wolverhampton now also secure in their position.
Elsewhere league leaders Ipswich were again taken to a last-heat decider at home as they overcame Peterborough 46-44.
Thursday’s meetings went ahead following a two-minute silence at both venues for HM Queen Elizabeth II, whose passing was announced one hour prior to the start of racing.
