FIXTURES SUSPENDED IN RESPECT FOR ROYAL FAMILY
BRITISH Speedway can confirm out of respect to the Royal Family, no fixtures will take place on Monday September 19.
The domestic programme will resume this week, starting with the Championship play-off quarter-final between Plymouth and Poole on Tuesday.
Clubs will be marking the sad passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II with black armbands, periods of silence and the playing of the National Anthem.
Our thoughts remain with King Charles III and the Royal Family, and as a sport we will stand with the nation in mourning at next Monday’s funeral.
