Macedo is the first major signing by promoters at the venue which opens for its initial full season on September 24 with 30 fixtures planned before the final meeting of the term next May.
Macedo will again link with Singleton (NSW) car owner Sean Dyson running the Complete Parts & Equipment Solutions Midget and Sprintcar team entries.
Macedo has been a regular visitor to Australia since 2015 when he linked with Dyson Motorsport while he raced at ECS during the venue’s limited 2021-2022 season.
In addition to his December 3 ECS 2022-23 season debut, Macedo is booked for Sydney appearances on December 30, January 1, 4, 6 and 7.
He also has four commitments (December 10, January 11, 13 and 14) at Brisbane’s Archerfield Speedway in a busy east coast campaign between the two tracks at season high time.
“Carson is a class act and we’re delighted to have him back with us at our Eastern Creek avenue and also Archerfield,” ECS Speedway Promotions Pty Ltd co-promoter John Kelly said.
“Once again he is well in contention and is enjoying a very successful American season on the national title trail.”
Macedo is currently placed third in the American Sprintcar Championship standings with 12 races remaining on the 70 plus fixture schedule.
