ALL STAR SERIES SPRINTCARS BACK TO THE BRIDGE
After two seasons, teams are finally making the trip back across the border into South Australia to Murray Bridge Speedway for round three of the Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers All Star Series on Saturday, December 17.
“Murray Bridge has been a regular supporter over the years but the last two seasons we have been Covid effected with border restrictions in place so it is awesome to get to return; and to top it off it is the Ultimate Pink night, what an honour for us,” All Stars operator Mandy Searle says.
A strong field of 360 Sprintcar competitors have nominated.
Mark Caruso (SA33 – Caruso Motorsport entry) came home with the A-Main win from Hamilton last weekend and gets to run at his home track.
Swapping his 410 for the 360 is brother Steve (SA 10) who might have plans to take out the win and get bragging rights at the breakfast able. Another to do an engine change is the Perrett Family Racing SA98 car with Chad Ely at the wheel. Ely is a past All Star Series and Aussie 360 Champ and will be worth watching.
Currently leading the series is Rookie racer Chris Temby in the Foster Transport V18. Temby has been on the podium for the past two shows. Todd Moule (D26) has sorted out the gremlins his team had last weekend and always shows speed. Brenten Farrer (V34) makes a return to the series after running in Perth for a few shows. Ben Morris (SA 3), Ricky Maiolo (SA 24), VA91 Dan Scott (VA 91), Corey Sandow, Jason Bolitho (NT 52), Brent Fox (SA 93) are just a few to come into contention for round three.
