WARRNAMBOOL’S SUPERB FIELD FOR SPEEDWEEK FINALE

Warrnambool’s Premier Speedway will open 2023 in style with the traditional Sprintcars Speedweek January 1 event forming a Sunday and Monday double header with the Victorian Sprintcar Championship on January 2.
Over forty nominations have been received for the January 1 Clay-Per-View Sprintcars Speedweek finale at Sungold Stadium Premier Speedway to open 2023.
The New Year’s Day event is the final round of the four-round series, which commenced on Boxing night at Murray Bridge. Warrnambool local Jamie Veal was victorious, starting his Speedweek campaign in style.
Veal is one of a strong nomination list for Premier Speedway on January 1, presented by Fresha. He will be accompanied by second and third placegetters Jock Goodyer and Luke Dillon.
Texan Chase Randall, is another nomination for Premier Speedway and impressed on his Australian debut at Murray Bridge, scoring a fourth place. Chase will no doubt be looking forward to hitting the high banks of Sungold Stadium on Sunday night.
The four-round series, over seven nights, will travel to Borderline Speedway Mount Gambier for Round 2 on December 28, before hitting Victoria on December 30 at Avalon Raceway in Lara, with the Sprintcar Speedweek series final at Premier Speedway on January 1, where the series winner will be crowned.
Speedcars and Junior Sedans will provide supporting action with sixteen Speedcars and twenty-plus Juniors ready to deliver.
Tickets are available for both the January 1 and January 2 events and can be purchased from the Premier Speedway website www.premierspeedway.com.au or at the gate.
