BROTHERS BACK AT POOLE
POOLE have announced the return of Cook brothers Ben and Zach as they go for a hat-trick of Championship titles in 2023.
Ben will race for the Pirates for a third successive season whilst Zach is back for a second year, although he also played a part in their 2021 triumph as a guest in the latter stages of the campaign.
Promoter Dan Ford said: “These lads have really warmed themselves to the Poole faithful because of their effort and noticeable commitment to the club.
“I think it became obvious from the middle of the season that we would need to find a way to build a team around them, and if they both continue to develop at the rate we have seen then they will once again be extremely vital cogs in the engine room of the side.”

WORKINGTON have named Connor Bailey as their No.1 ahead of the Comets’ return to racing next season.
Bailey, who rode for Glasgow in the Championship this year, joins the NDL side on a starting average of 8.86 with the Northside outfit now having their full team in place.
Promoter Andrew Bain said: “I am delighted to have signed Connor as our new No.1.
“I think his average is lower than his ability and I am sure he will lead from the front, backed up by our exciting young team.”
