It’s getting to the business end of the season and the Triple M Kendrick Racing Team is ready for the battle.
With Rround 15 of the 18-round series to be held at the Perth Motorplex this Saturday night, Jason Kendrick is on 2032 points in the 2022-23 championship – just 24 shy of leader James Inglis on 2056.
With that in mind the team is going in with the mindset of finishing each round and gaining as many points as possible.
“We are looking forward to these rounds and keeping the pressure on for the championship,” said team boss Geoff Kendrick.
“We are definitely chasing podium results and we feel we have the right package to get the job done.
“The car is now at a point where it is very fast and Jason is doing a good job behind the wheel, so podium placings and a win or two aren’t out of the equation.
“It is just a matter of staying out of trouble and making the most of our opportunities – if we get all that right the rest – and the points, will take care of themselves.”
Geoff said they have also used the off-week from racing to prepare their inventory for the double header shows the following weekend – Good Friday at Bunbury and Easter Saturday at the Motorplex.
“The two shows over the Easter weekend kick off the Maddington Toyota Triple Crown and making sure we have everything right this week makes it a lot easier when we get busy for those shows,” he said.
“But come this Saturday night, we would like to claim gold in the Asphalt Recyclers Australia Sprintcar Gold Cup.”
